My story began in Guatemala, where I was born and raised before immigrating to the United States at 15. After a successful 30+ year career in Human Resources leadership, I made the bold choice to follow my true calling: coaching. Today, my coaching mission aligns fully with my core values—Service, Positivity, and Connection. Coaching isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am.
In 2024, I founded Talent Spark Coaching to bring these benefits to a broader audience. Too often, coaching is seen as a luxury reserved for senior leaders. I was originally nervous to hire a coach because I didn’t think the problems I had were serious enough to require one. In the end the meetings I had with Edwin Arriola helped me realize that my feelings and working on my mindset was and is valid. By talking through some of my thought processes I was able to recognize certain views that weren’t benefiting me. Edwin also introduced some tests (ELI and Clifton Strengths Assessments) that helped me discover my strengths, that to be honest, I originally did not view as strengths to begin with. Overall, I definitely can say these classes (coaching sessions) gave me a new personal point of view and also tools that I can look back on when I feel like I have lost my way again.
